"Top 20 Gastropubs in London"
"The simple, enjoyable comfort food is cooked with flair; there are brunches, roasts and an inexpensive wine list."
"Service is attentive, friendly and relaxed...the food is good value, plentiful and tasty...I like this place!"

The London Paper

"It's hard to go wrong with the food - the meals are what you'd expect from a great British gastropub. Dishes which come highly reccomended are the fish (which is locally sourced) and the juicy beef. Some people gripe about the 12.5 per cent service charge but in my opinion is worth every penny. Not only the staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about the food and have a demeanour so relaxed it'll invitably rub off on you and your date "

" The Abbeville combined relaxed surroundings with tasty, honest food to create a very enjoyable evening. "

Lambeth Weekender

" The Abbeville is the sort of well-priced gastropub that cooks excellent, gourmet food while also remembering it is a pub; their delicacy of flavour is matched by their generosity of portion. Due to the bustling ambiance of the place, you might find yourself not journeying home for quite some time... delightful staff. "
